People are turning to the web more and more for their daily updates of news, videos, and simply keeping in touch with one another. Gone are the days of offices filled with newspapers. With this extra demand for content sites need the space to display this. Stats support that people are viewing websites with screen resolutions of 1024 and well above and so sites are moving away from the old 800x600 ideals.
